Acting on a tip-off that accused of July 17 robbery here are hiding in a house in Sigma sector, a team of Kasna police raided the house.
On seeing the police personnel, the five persons opened fire on them after which the police retaliated fire.

During interrogation, the three men told police that they were involved in robbery of Rs 16 lakh at Kasna here.
Police also recovered Rs 4.2 lakh from the accused. Two country-made pistols, one knife, two motorcycles, of which one was used in the robbery.
Efforts are on to nab their accomplices, the police added.
