Three smugglers held with illicit arms

Three smugglers were arrested today with arms and ammunition from Jamalpur railway station in Munger district.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of Government Railway Police (GRP) and Special Task Force (STF) laid a trap and arrested the trio with four pistols and 20 ammunition while they were standing at Jamalpur railway station, SP, Railway, Umashankar Prasad said.
Dharmendra Kumar, Patali Yadav, both natives of Bhojpur district, and Parvez Alam, a local, have been booked under the Arms Act and sent to jail, he said.
