Three women murdered in Jhunjhunu

Savitri(50) and her daughter-in-law Rekha(20) were found in a pool of blood in their house in Berla village, they said.

One person has been detained in this connection and has been put under interrogation, they said.

In another incident, an elderly woman was found dead beside a road in Khetri area, police said.

Premlata Sharma, who had gone to attend a religious function in a nearby village, did not return till late following which her family members started looking for her and later found her body near Copper guest house, they said.

Investigations into both the cases are on and efforts are being made to ascertain the identity of the culprits, they added.
