TIFF to begin from August 9

The 18th edition of the Trivandrum International Film Festival (TIFF), featuring 51 films from 25 countries, will begin from August 9.
The highlights of the week long festival are packages of seven contemporary Hungarian films, five films from Japanese directors and eight films from Germany and France, the event organisers said here today.
The films to be screened include 'The Message,' 'After The Shock,' 'Lost in Journey' from China, 'Athanasia' (Greece), 'Limbo' (Norway), 'A Barefoot Dream,' (South Korea) and 'Applause' from Denmark.
The film society had made arrangements for renewal and grant of new memberships, the release said.
