The man identified as Isahaque Laskar was fishing with a couple at Beniseli jungles on the riverine area of Sidurkathi river when the tiger venturing out from the forest took him away on January 2 last, the police said here today.
The group had gone to the river to catch crabs when the incident happened.
A report has been filed with the police and forest authorities and efforts are on to trace the person.
