Tight movements in sugar prices in thin trading

The wholesale sugar prices closed on a steady note in the national capital today on scattered buying by retailers and bulk consumers.
Marketmen said scattered buying support against ample supplies mainly kept sugar prices unchanged.

Sugar retail markets - Rs 36.00-38.00 per kg.
Sugar ready: M-30 (Rs 3,240-3,440); S-30(Rs 3,230-3,430).
Mill delivery: M-30 (Rs 3,110-3,290); S-30 (Rs 3,090-3,275).
