Timber logs seized from illegal saw mill

The forest officials yesterday seized timber logs of worth Rs 1 lakh from an illegally operating saw-mill at Athagada village in Aska forest range limit in Ganjam district, said divisional forest officer (DFO) Ghumusar (North) division Ranjan Mallick.
No one was, however, arrested.
"We are verifying the owner of the place, where the saw-mill was operating," he said.
