TN govt announces Rs 20 lakh solatium to Army man

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami today condoled the death of Muthu Santhanakumar, belonging to the Indian Army's 17th regiment.
The deceased hailed from Tuticorin district and was a driver in the army.
An official release said he died after the vehicle he was driving was involved in an accident in the North East region yesterday.
Expressing his condolences to the bereaved family, Palaniswami said he had issued orders to grant Rs 20 lakh as solatium, the release said.
