The three-day conference 'World Food India' organised by Ministry of Food Processing Industries would be held from November 3, to facilitate partnerships between domestic and international businesses, an official release said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi would inaugurate the event on November 3 in which State Agriculture Minister R Doraikannu will take part on behalf of Chief Minister K Palaniswami, the release said.
Tamil Nadu would participate in the event and would showcase its strength and opportunities through stalls in State pavilion by farmer producers organisations, agricultural marketing, horticulture and educational institutions.
More than 2,000 participants, 400 exhibitors and 20 countries, 26 states and over 50 global CEOs were expected to participate in the event, it added.
