TNAU student selected for Marie Curie Fellowship

Divyashree, a second year MSc Biotechnology student from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) here, has been selected for the prestigious Marie Curie Fellowship to pursue doctoral research study in the University of Cambridge, UK.
She will work in the project "Characterisation of meiotic cross over hotspots in Arubidopsis and Wheat" a TNAU release said today.
This project is the foremost and one among the 13 as a part of the Control of Meiotic Recombination in Crops network, a Marie Curie Initiative Training Network, funded by European Union, it said.
The 13 project leaders of the network recruit 13 candidates for the job position "Marie Curie Early Stae Researchers" for a period of three years.
