Toddler dies after falling in tub in UP

A toddler died after slipping into a tub while trying to take out a biscuit that had fallen into it in Kharkhoda area here, police said today.
One-and-a-half-year-old Riza crawled into the bathroom while playing with her 3-year-old brother yesterday. The girl leaned on the tub to take out a biscuit that had fallen in it, they said
She fell into the tub while attempting to pick-up the biscuit, they said, adding that her parents were not at home when the incident occurred.
Rizwan, a resident of Kashiram Colony here, had left for work yesterday morning and his wife had given biscuits to their children before going to the neighbourhood, police said.

They said that when his wife Yasmeen came back after two hours, she found their daughter's body in the tub.
Family members have buried the toddler's body, police further said.
