Actor Tom Hardy is all set to portray the legendary war photojournalist Don McCullin.
The film will be produced by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner along with the 38-year-old actor and his production partner, Dean Baker, reported Deadline.
Gregory Burke, the Scottish playwright has adapted McCullin's memoir "Unreasonable Behaviour," which was originally published in 1990 and updated last year to mark his 80th birthday.
The book is an unwavering account of the photographer's journey from a poverty-stricken childhood in wartime London to the most famous war photojournalists of all times.
McCullin served as a lead photographer at the Sunday Times and has captured the construction of the Berlin Wall, the war in Vietnam, the AIDS epidemic in Africa, and the Falklands crisis.
The "Mad Max: Fury Road" actor is currently working with director Christopher Nolan in the World War II thriller "Dunkirk".
