Tom Holland joins Benedict Cumberbatch in 'The Current War'
The 20-year-old actor has been cast as Thomas Edison's trusted colleague, Samuel Insull, in The Weinstein Company movie, reported The Wrap.
The movie also stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael Shannon, Nicholas Hoult and Katherine Waterston.
The film is based on the contentious dispute between George Westinghouse and his rival Edison over how to develop electricity for US households.
Waterson will play Westinghouse's wife and Hoult will portray Nikola Tesla.
Filming is scheduled to begin in early December.
