TOONZ Animation Masters Summit 2018 Begins

The two-day 19th edition of TOONZ Animation Masters Summit began here today with top experts in the field participating.

The summit was inaugurated by Ashish Kulkarni, Chairman of FICCI for Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics Forum.

V G Samant, a venerated pioneer of Indian animation, was honoured with the 'Legend of Animation' award for his contributions to the animation industry, on the occasion.

V G Samant, Pioneer of Indian animation and creator of 'Hanuman', P Vijay Kumar, Secretary, Gtech, P Jayakumar, CEO, TOONZ Animation and Avaneesh Muralidharan, festival director were present, a release said.

Legendary masters including Kiran Antony- Executive Creative Director, Ogilvy & Mather, Resul Pookutty- Oscar winning sound engineer and Paul Robinson- International Media Executive, would take part in the event.
