Top Army commander visits Jammu garrison, reviews preparedness

A top Army commander today reviewed the operational preparedness and manpower of the Army Air Defence units here, a defence spokesman said.
Adjutant General and Senior Colonel Commandant Corps of Army Air Defence Lieutenant General Ashwani Kumar reviewed the operational preparedness and manpower of the Army Air Defence units during a visit to Dhar road and Jammu garrision, he said.
Later, the spokesman said, the officer addressed the troops of the garrison informing them of the welfare measures and initiatives being undertaken at the Army level and also the need for remaining alert given the prevailling security scenario in the area.
