The five-day event haas also attracted participants from China, Philippines, Russia, Kazaksthan and Spain. The qualifying rounds will be played on September 5 and 6.
With 24 players in the main draw, the doubles finals will be played on September 11 and singles finals the next day.
This is the third time Coimbatore will be hosting the event.
The total prize money will be USD 10,000, with the singles winner getting USD 1,300, runner up USD 900.
The winners and runner up will be awareded 18 and 10 ATP Points respectively.
