Tourist bus with 40 people falls into valley in Tibet

A tourist bus carrying about 40 people fell into a valley following a three-vehicle pile-up in Tibet today, causing some fatalities.
The tour bus crashed into a sports utility vehicle and a pick-up truck along the National Highway No 318 in Nyemo County before plunging into the valley, said a spokesman with the regional government, state-run Xinhua reported.
Casualty details were not immediately known, but Xinhua reported that some bodies and injured passengers were seen being carried out of the vehicle.
The number of casualties is being verified.
