The ultra identified as Manu Ganju alias Manu Singh was arrested by the police when he came to live in his newly constructed house in Manatu, Deputy Superintendent of Police, HIralal Ravi said.
Singh was a native of Bandhwar village under Kunda police station of adjoining Chatra district, Ravi said adding that Latehar and bordering areas of Palamau was under Singh's command.
He was wanted by the police in over half a dozen cases including an attack on Manatu police station in 2004, Ravi said.
