Trader gets extortion call

The call to trader Rohit Goyal has scared the traders in Dadri area. A few days ago, a brick kiln owner and a trader were shot dead by extortionists when they refused to pay.

Goyal told the police that he had received call last week.

The caller claimed to be close to an MLA and told him he was demanding the extortion on his behalf. Police have provided security to the trader and his mobile phone too has been put on surveillance. Police were trying to trace the caller.
