Train tragedy: gateman held

The gateman of a level- crossing where 20 people were killed in a train-autorickshaw collision on Monday, was arrested from Benipatti area in Madhubani district today.
Superintendent of Police Mohammad M Rahman said gateman Santosh Malik was arrested from his in-laws' place at Sakri Bhawani locality.
Malik was among the three persons suspended by the Railways in the wake of the accident.
Twenty people, including eight children, were killed when Dehradun-bound Rapti Ganga Express hit the packed autorickshaw at full speed at the manned railway crossing between Semra and Sugauli stations in East Champaran district.
