Trial run on Shoranur-Kozhikode electrified line conducted

Trial run on the newly electrified lines between Shoranur and Kozhikode was successfully conducted by Southern Railway's Palakkad division today.
The Electric loco left Shoranur at 9.00 a m and reached Kozhikode at 11 10 a m. And in the return direction it left Kozhikode at 12.00 non and arrived Shoranur at 14.00 p m., a press release from the PRO, Palakkad division said today.
Local MP, M K Raghavan and railway officials were present at Kozhikode station to receive the train which was flagged off at Shoranur by senior officials of the southern railway.
