The four leaders are apparently miffed with Mirwaiz for writing a letter to amalgam's convener in PoK asking him not to entertain leaders and representatives "who decide to tread a separate path and have left Hurriyat on their own".
The leaders are President of the Democratic Freedom Party Shabir Ahmad Shah, National Front chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Mahaz-e-Azadi chief patron Azam Inqilabi and chairman of the Islamic Political Party Mohammad Yousuf Naqash.
"We are having consultations over the matter and we will soon come out with a response. There are some people within the Hurriyat who are conspiring against us and and do not want unity among the separatists," Shah told PTI.
Attempts to contact Hurriyat Conference leaders including Mirwaiz did not fructify.
