"We set 30 lakh as a limit, but it is crossing 50 lakhs as per the information coming to us," party President and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao told reporters here.
The party would get about Rs 8 crore through the drive.
TRS would provide insurance cover to the party members, he said.
Elections to party units from village level would take place during March and April. A key meeting is scheduled for April 24 where the regional party's state president would be elected, Rao said.
The Chief Minister also said the Budget session of Legislative Assembly would conclude by March end. The session is expected to begin in early March but the date has not been announced yet.
