Truck rams into tea-stall, kills three

Three persons, including a minor were killed and several others injured when a truck rammed into a tea-stall at Ambedkar Chowk in the district here today, police said.
Puraini Station House Officer Sunil Kumar said the incident occurred after the driver allegedly lost control over the truck which rammed into the tea-stall killing the three on the spot.
Those killed in the accident have been identified as Mahendra Sahni (50), Mohan Singh (60) and Varsha Kumari (04).
The injured are out of danger and are being treated at a local clinic.
The driver fled the scene after the accident, he said.
