Trucks loaded with timber seized

Security forces today seized eight trucks loaded with timber along Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border in Sonitpur district.
According to Biswanath Chariali Divisional Forest Officer Sivasis Das, SSB personnel intercepted the trucks along the inter-state border and seized the huge quantity of timber in an area under Biswanath Chariali police station.
The drivers of the vehicles have also been arrested, he added.
