TTK Prestige Q1 net falls 73.26% to Rs 35.9 crore

Kitchen appliances firm TTK Prestige today reported 73.26 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 35.9 crore for the quarter ended June 30.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 134.27 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago which included a one-time exceptional income of Rs 128.96 crore on account of monetisation of property development right.

Its total income stood at Rs 423.55 crore. It was Rs 359.45 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, TTK Prestige said in a BSE filing.

The company said revenue figure, which is part of total income, is not strictly comparable with previous year since the previous year figures included excise duty which has now been subsumed after implementation of GST.

Shares of TTK Prestige were trading at Rs 5,841 on BSE, down 0.19 per cent, from the previous close.
