TTK Prestige stocks up over 3% on settlement with workers

Shares of kitchen appliances firm TTK Prestige today settled with gains of over 3 per cent after the company said it has signed a long-term settlement with the workers' union at its Hosur unit in Tamil Nadu.
During the day, the stock jumped 5.93 per cent to touch an intra-day high of Rs 3964.80 at BSE. However, it lost some ground and was quoted at Rs 3,867, up 3.32 per cent at the end of today's trading session.
At the NSE, the stock jumped 6.35 per cent to an intra-day high of Rs 3,966. It finally settled at Rs 3,880, up 4.05 per cent, per scrip.
"The company has signed a long-term settlement with the workers' union at the company's Hosur unit in Tamil Nadu. This settlement provides for a superior productivity compared with the earlier settlements," the company said in a regulatory filing on August 27.
