Speaking at the Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) organised to commemorate the 24th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi here, Tuki said, "We will not allow this bill to come here because if it is implemented here it will destroy the rules and regulations of our land."
"We need to stand against the Bill," he said, adding, "the BJP has changed totally the clause of this Bill brought by the UPA government."
Flaying the opposition BJP, Tuki said that the party had tried to spread false information about financial crisis and asked the employees to withdraw their GPF.
"Though the Centre had not released the full fund against salaries for centrally sponsored schemes (CSS) like DRDA, SSA and others, the government has managed to pay the salaries. All pending salary of SSA will be released within this month. With regard to PMGSY money, I have released everything," Tuki said.
"Let the opposition continue their protest because it is their duty but we will maintain the good work," he said.
"Arunachal is a family and we are committed to build a happy, strong and vibrant independent family. I encourage the youth to work hard and be committed to their work while staying united," he said while addressing the party cadre at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan here.
