Tuki congratulates Tsering for winning Raid-de-Himalaya
Press Trust of India Itanagar Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has congratulated Lhakpa Tsering for winning the 17th Raid-de-Himalaya, a rare feat achieved by any individual from the state.
Commending the achievement, the chief minister said that Tsering has set an example for the youths to emulate, an official communique informed.
Tsering who had finished second in the "17th Raid-de-Himalaya" in October this year, was declared winner of the event in place of Raj Singh Rathore.
Tsering was declared winner after Rathore's entry into the event was declared 'null and void' due to technical discrepancies in his paper works, according to Vijay Parmar, the Head of the event organizer, the communique added.
