TV18 Broadcast appoints Adil Zainulbhai as its Chairman

Media firm TV18 Broadcast has appointed Adil Zainulbhai as Chairman of the company.
Zainulbhai would replace Manoj Mohanka, who had expressed his unwillingness to continue as the Chairman, TV18 Broadcast said in a BSE filing.
"The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 22, 2015, appointed Adil Zainulbhai, non-executive independent director, as its Chairman in place of Manoj Mohanka who had expressed his unwillingness to continue as the Chairman of the Board of Directors," the company said.
However, it also added that Mohanka will continue as non-executive independent director on the company.
Meanwhile, in a separate filing, TV18 Broadcast said that it has appointed Deepak Gupta as company secretary and compliance officer with effect from July 22, 2015.

Shares of the company today closed at Rs 37.05 per scrip on BSE, down 12.31 per cent from previous close.
