TV18 Broadcast Q1 net loss narrows to Rs 14 crore

Media firm TV18 Broadcast today reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 14.28 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had registered a net loss of Rs 15.72 crore in the April-June quarter in the previous fiscal.
Its total income during the quarter under review went up marginally to Rs 226.72 crore from Rs 220.31 crore in the same quarter a year earlier, TV18 Broadcast said in a BSE filing.
In a separate filing, the company also announced appointment of PMS Prasad and K R Raja as non-executive directors.
The stock was trading lower by 6.05 per cent at Rs 38.85 in afternoon trade.
