Chennai-based TVS Motor Company and Sundaram Clayton offered Rs one crore each to the hill temple in the form of a Demand Draft, Talari Ravi, PRO of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams which manages the shrine, told PTI.
TVS motor company CEO K N Radhakrishnan and Sundaram Clayton CEO T A Ranganathan together handed over the amount to TTD Executive Officer D Sambasiva Rao inside the temple.
The companies requested TTD to use the amount for the TTD run 'Pilgrim Free Meal Scheme' known as Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust, Ravi said.
