The Chennai-based company had sold 1,96,826 units in the same month last year.
Total two-wheeler sales for the month grew by 6 per cent to 2,00,238 units as against 1,88,822 units in March 2014, TVS Motor Company said in a statement.
Motorcycle sales increased by 13 per cent to 76,936 units last month compared with 68,158 units in the corresponding month a year earlier.
Scooter sales during the month grew by 14 per cent to 54,666 units in March 2015 as against 47,766 units in the corresponding month last year.
Exports in March jumped by 42 per cent to 42,637 units, compared to 29,944 units in the corresponding month a year earlier.
