Two arrested for blackmailing, molesting minor girl

Two persons were arrested for allegedly blackmailing and molesting a 17-year-old girl on the pretext of offering her a 'modelling' job, police said today.
The Gorai police today produced both the accused, who are residents of suburban Thane district in Nalasopara, in court which remanded them to police custody till May 18, they said.
According to the FIR lodged, F Patrawala, 26, and Samrat Tambe, 22, offered a modelling job to the girl, telling her that she had a good figure but she needed to take a few "medicines" in the form of injections which would "enhance" her figure.
The minor girl in her complaint said that on April 24 Abbas and Samrat took her to Manori's Gorai Green Hotel in suburban Borivali, where they allegedly mixed sedatives in a drink as well as injected chemicals in her body, following which she became unconscious.

Later, the duo allegedly photographed her naked.
The accused persons then called her the next day and asked her to follow their instructions, failing which they would upload her nude pictures on social media sites.
A case has been registered under Section 328, Section 354, Section 354(b), Section 354(d), Section 34 of the IPC and other relevant sections of the POCSO Act, the police said.
