Police have seized Rs 1,850 stake money, playing cards from their possession.
Acting on a tip-off, police officers conducted raids in a gambling den in Vijay Nagar area late last night and arrested the duo - later identified as Dalchand Gupta and Ashiq Khan, both residents of Vijay Nagar.
"Police got information that some persons were gambling in Vijay Nagar area near Ambedkar Park late on Thursday night. A police team was sent there. Two gamblers were arrested," a police officer said.
Police are interrogating the accused about their accomplices, the officer added.
