On March 5, Yunus (23) was caught at Babu Ram School picket and a mobile phone was recovered.
The recovered mobile phone was found to be stolen from Vivek Vihar. The accused revealed that he was going to a mobile shop for getting the IMEI number changed so that he could dispose of the mobile phones easily, police said.
Subsequently, Parmod (28) was also nabbed from a mobile phone shop near Geeta Bhawan Bhola Nath Nagar, they said.
After changing the IMEI numbers, Parmod used to sell the stolen mobile phones, a CPU, six IMEI number changing devices, a key, several old mobile phones, whose IMEI numbers had to be inscribed on the stolen phones, were recovered, they added.
