stolen Rs 12 lakh from a businessman's car, have been arrested and Rs 7.5 lakh recovered from them, police said today.
Praveen (19) and Ajay Kumar (19) were arrested by the staff of Sarita Vihar police station.
On Wednesday, Aman Singh Chauhan reached Sarita Vihar police station and registered a complaint regarding theft of Rs 12 lakh from his car when he was going to his residence at Madanpur Khadar village near Gang Mandir.
"Chauhan told us that he stopped his car for some time when some unknown persons stole a bag containing Rs 12 lakh from the vehicle. On a tip off, a police team team reached at a wine shop in DDA Market. Seeing policemen, two boys started running.
