Two brothers given 4-year imprisonment

A local court has sentenced two brothers to four years of imprisonment for attempting to murder their sister-in-law.
Additional District Sessions Judge Tripta Gupta convicted Sabir and Shakil under Section 307 and 452 of IPC yesterday and imposed a fine of Rs 6,000 each.
In 2009, the convicts attempted to murder Shabnam with swords over a family dispute in Thana Bhawan town of Shamli district.
