Two cops held for taking Rs 25,000 bribe

Two police officials were arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau on charge of taking Rs 25,000 bribe in Warangal district of Telangana.
A circle inspector of police and a head constable attached to Central Crime Station (CCS) of Warangal Urban were caught red-handed by ACB officials yesterday when they allegedly demanded and accepted Rs 25,000 as bribe from a complainant, an ACB release said here today.
After recovery of the bribe amount from them, both the accused were arrested, it said.
The names of the two accused were not revealed by the ACB.
