Two drown in boat tragedy in Bihar

Two persons have drowned when an overcrowded boat capsized in Bihar's Saharsa district today, official sources said.
The boat had started from East Kosi and was on way to Belwara village when it met with the tragedy near Belwara in the Dhemra river under Simri Bakhtiarpur sub-division of the Saharsa district, District Magistrate Shashi Bhushan Kumar said.
There were 25 people on board the country boat, the DM said adding the 23 others swam to safety.
The boat capsized due to overcrowding, official sources said.
