Two drug smugglers arrested near Jaisalmer

Two alleged narcotic drug smugglers, accused in a case of heroin seizure and on the run since 2012, were arrested from the border area of the city, police said today.
The accused, identified as Mohammed Khan and Makhne Khan, were nabbed yesterday near the bordering town of Shahgarh, they said, adding, that they are members of a gang busted on August 8 in 2012.
However, the third accused Hasan Khan is still at large, police said.
About 8 kg of heroin was seized by Jaisalmer ATS-police after arresting four smugglers of the gang in 2012 from a hotel during a raid.

Out of the three smugglers who had escaped during the raid, two were arrested yesterday, police said.
