Two groups scuffle over eve teasing at amusement park

A clash broke out between a group of engineering students and some local youths over alleged eve teasing of two B Tech students at an amusement park here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday at an amusement water park on Delhi-Meerut near Duhai when two local boys passed some lewd comments on two girls of a nearby engineering institute and also threatened them when the girls protested, Muradnager Station House Officer Subodh Saxena said.
Subsequently, both the girls called their class mates to the park. The accused also called their friends and the situation took an ugly turn when two groups armed with lethal weapons confronted with each other and created ruckus, Saxena said.

Locals then informed the police. Sensing the police movement towards the water park the hoodlums engaged in brawl disappeared from the spot, he said.
Based on the victims' complaint, police has initiated a man hunt to nab the accused.
