Two held for burglary

Two persons were today
arrested for allegedly looting Rs 1.66 lakh from a transport services office here, police said.
One of the two persons apprehended was working as supervisor at Kandoi Transport Services and is identified as Prasana Kumar Mahapatro (30) from Odisha, while the other as Palla Pedda (29), a resident of Gajuwaka area in the city.
Police said the duo burgled the office on March 17 and decamped with Rs 1.66 lakh cash.
Police recovered Rs 1.65 lakh of the stolen cash from them.
ADCP (Crimes) S Varada Raju said the duo are alcoholics and committed the crime for easy money.
