On September 24, a burglary case was registered at police station Nowabad after which a police team was constituted to nab the culprits, a police officer said.
After thorough and painstaking investigations, the team arrested Romesh Yadav of Uttar Pradesh who was working as a servant in the house of the victim and Ravi Kumar a resident of Jammu.
He said that on sustained investigation, the team managed to crack the burglary case and recovered the stolen items including one diamond ring, one gold ring, golden studs and other gold and silver ornaments.
There has been an increase in incidents of burglaries in Jammu, as two days ago some unknown burglars managed to enter a girl's hostel in Digiana and stole some items from there.
