A team of police intercepted one motor cycle without registration number and the rider Parveen Singh and his pillion Jagbir Singh were asked to stop, a police spokesman said.
He said that during the search, police recovered three Kg of Poppy Straw from the duo.
Both the accused were arrested and cases under various sections of the NDPS act have been registered against the two and further investigations initiated, he said.
