Narinder Singh was arrested during a routine checking on Bhanoki-Kotrani village road and 20 bottles of illicit liquor recovered from his possession, Phagwara SP Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh said.
In another case, Gurdip Singh alias Babbi of Uchapind village in the district was arrested under NDPS Act after he was found allegedly carrying 200 grams of intoxicating powder, Khakh said.
Further investigations into both the matters are underway, the SP added.
