Two Hyderabad civic employees caught taking bribe

A Section Officer and an Office Subordinate working at the civic body here were trapped by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 25,000.
Mir Mehdi Ali, Section Officer in Town Planning Department of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, was caught yesterday while accepting the bribe amount from a person for processing his building permission file, an ACB release said today.
On his instructions, the Office Subordinate, N Vamshi, received the bribe amount, which was later seized by the ACB, it added.
