The bridge, which was in a dilapidated condition, collapsed when the truck was crossing it, Sub-Divisional Officer Jyotirmoy Tanti said.
Both the injured were rescued in a serious condition and hospitalised, he said.
The bridge was constructed over the river Jurantee in Mal sub-division.
