The mishap took place when a Maruti van collided head- on with a speeding container near Ratanpura village, Bhanpura Police Station in-charge Gopal Singh Chouhan said.
All the victims, including the injured, were travelling in the van and returning to their village Lotkhedi after visiting a temple, Chouhan said.
The deceased were identified as Anand (23) and van driver Kailash Meghwal (30), he said.
Seven persons were injured and admitted in a hospital at Jhalawar in Rajasthan, the police officer said.
