The explosion took place this afternoon when one Bikau (35) was sorting through a pile of scrap, killing him and his son Aman (7) on the spot. Three other members of the family were also injured in the incident, said Bharat Singh, Superintendent of Police (SP).
The injured have been rushed to a hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, Singh said, adding, investigation is on.
